Animal Hospitals Tend to Slow Down after the New Year
Have any of you other veterinarians out there wondered why this is the case?
I have a few theories:
- Clients spent all of their money over the holidays
- Kids are back in school
- No one wants to tow the dog around when the weather is cold, wet, and rainy
- Puppies and kittens are frequently born in late spring bringing them into the clinic in the summer for wellness care/vaccinations.
Anyone else out there have ideas as to why this is the case? Is this phenomenon limited to Dallas?
